Ser Caldris Vaelor
Race: Human
Class: Oathbound Paladin (Crown)
Plaque Inscription:
“First Blade of the Concord, Shield of the Faithful.”
Ser Caldris was born to a minor noble house and rose through devotion and discipline alone. Known for unwavering honor and battlefield leadership, he embodied the ideals of service and sacrifice.
Caldris believed that order was the highest virtue and that chaos must be purged wherever it took root. His campaigns against marauder clans along Valecar’s western frontier earned him three commendations and the Golden Sigil of Valor.
He accepted Taezyth’s Calling without hesitation, stating:
"If I am chosen, then the path is already righteous."
He left behind a wife and twin daughters.
Statue Description:
Caldris stands forward-footed, longsword planted tip-down before him, both hands resting atop the pommel. His marble armor is inlaid with gold filigree. His face is calm, eyes lifted slightly skyward, cloak frozen mid-billow behind him.
Elyra Moonvein
Race: High Elf
Class: Arcane Scholar (Wizard)
Plaque Inscription:
“Bearer of Lighted Truth.”
Elyra was among Verdantia’s most gifted arcanists, mastering six schools of magic before her 120th year. She cataloged leyline disturbances across three continents and authored The Living Weave, now required reading in Solgrim academies.
She believed knowledge should serve unity and was among the earliest advocates of Taezyth’s historical revisions.
She volunteered for the Concord to witness Monolith energies firsthand.
Statue Description:
Elyra stands with one hand raised, arcane sigils carved mid-air around her fingers. Flowing robes cascade down her form, star-shaped crystals embedded along the hem. Her expression is serene curiosity, eyes focused beyond mortal sight.
Tharok Stonehide
Race: Half-Orc
Class: Ranger
Plaque Inscription:
“Warden of the Wild Paths.”
Raised among frontier clans, Tharok served as a scout and beast-hunter, guiding caravans safely through hostile territories. His tracking skills were legendary, once following a single footprint across twelve miles of badlands.
Though quiet and reserved, Tharok believed deeply in protecting civilization from encroaching darkness.
He joined the Concord to ensure others would never fear the wilds as he once had.
Statue Description:
Tharok is depicted mid-draw with a massive longbow, one knee bent, muscles taut. His stone features are softened with humility. A wolf companion rests carved at his side.
Brunna Ironvessel
Race: Mountain Dwarf
Class: Forge Cleric
Plaque Inscription:
“Hammer of Sacred Resolve.”
Brunna was master smith of her clan and consecrated cleric of the Forge Path. She personally crafted relic armor for three royal houses and reforged the Gates of Blackreach after the southern riots.
She believed creation was sacred — and destruction was merely creation’s shadow.
She viewed the Monoliths as corrupted relics requiring purification.
Statue Description:
Brunna stands broad and proud, warhammer resting over one shoulder. Her beard is braided with tiny metal rings. Her armor bears engraved anvils and flames.
Kaelith Vex
Race: Tiefling
Class: Bard / Whisper Agent
Plaque Inscription:
“Voice of the People.”
Once a street performer, Kaelith became a master orator and covert diplomat. He defused riots with song and exposed three corruption rings inside merchant guilds.
Kaelith believed stories shaped reality.
He joined the Concord to ensure the truth of their victory would inspire generations.
Statue Description:
Kaelith stands with one hand extended theatrically, rapier at his hip, cloak sweeping dramatically. His tail curls behind him. His smile is confident, eyes alive with charm.
Sister Maribel Thorne
Race: Human
Class: Life Domain Cleric
Plaque Inscription:
“Mercy in Mortal Form.”
Maribel spent two decades running refugee sanctuaries and plague wards. She healed thousands during the Redwater outbreaks and refused payment for her services.
She believed compassion was the strongest magic.
She accepted Taezyth’s Calling only after being told her presence might save her companions.
Statue Description:
Maribel is carved kneeling slightly, hands glowing with sculpted divine light as she tends to an unseen wounded figure. Her expression is gentle and resolute.
Their Fate (Official Record)
Displayed beneath the statues in gilded lettering:
“Together, the Luminary Concord shattered the Crownwood Monolith.
Their triumph saved Valecar.
Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.”
Bodies were never recovered.
The Scar deepened that year.
Forest spirits went silent.
And something old woke beneath Crownwood.
