Thornspan

Thornspan is unique — two towns face each other across the bridge, locked in a cold war.
Travel
The bridge is grown, not built — coaxed from ancient living briar by elven geomancers centuries ago. Only Thornhollow’s druidic circles can maintain it.
Spanwatch militarized their side decades later and now enforces tolls at swordpoint.
Neither side trusts the other — but both profit.
